shortness

God can still use short people.
last night i took my little brother Paul to a Charlotte Bobcats game. we were able to score some free tickets through a friend of my other brother's.
last night was the first home game for the shortest player currently in the NBA, Earl "bu, bu, buh" Boykins (5'5"), he is the second shortest player to ever play in the NBA beneath Muggsy Bogues (5'3"). he was a really fun player to watch, because he was quite a bit shorter than most the other players he had to work that much more for points. he scored 13 points and was a really hard worker.
now for a deeper thought behind this. i know for me there are a lot of times that i think that i am not worthy of being used by God because i fall "short" of his glory, if you will. whether it is because i have failed or because i am not spiritual enough or a plethora of other reasons. then you look at this guy playing in the pros being towered over by the other guys and still he shows up and gives it his all and does well. that is how i want to be that even though i am not worthy, except through the grace of God, that i still show up and give God my all and do everything with passion and a love for Christ.

i really liked the "short" amount of time between your blog posts. i'm proud of you.
